The Steam Deck is a PC in handheld form, and it fails like one. The single USB-C port does charging, docking, and accessories, so it wears faster than any other connector on the device — and when it goes, the Deck won't charge at all.

My Steam Deck won't charge — what's wrong?
Nearly always the USB-C port. It handles charging, docking and accessories, so it takes far more wear than a normal connector. A port repair is $149; if the board behind it was damaged too, that's diagnosed and quoted separately.
Can Steam Deck thumbstick drift be fixed?
Yes — the stick module is replaced at $69 per side. Software deadzone tweaks only hide the problem; the wear is physical.
How much is a Steam Deck screen replacement?
One hundred twenty-nine dollars for the labour, plus the panel itself, which is quoted separately because LCD and OLED parts differ in price.
