Two faults dominate Switch repair. Joy-Con drift is a mechanical wear problem, not a software one. Calibration hides it for a while; replacing the stick module is what actually ends it.
A Switch that charges only when the cable is held at an angle is a port about to fail completely. Getting it done early keeps it a $99 job rather than a board repair.

How much does Joy-Con drift repair cost?
Forty-nine dollars per controller. The analog stick module is replaced rather than cleaned, because drift comes from physical wear inside the module — recalibrating only masks it for a few weeks.
Can a Switch charging port be replaced?
Yes. It's a soldered board-level repair: $99 for the original Switch and Lite, $109 for OLED, and $139 for Switch 2. If yours only charges at a particular cable angle, get it looked at before it stops entirely.
Will a Switch repair erase my save data?
Port, stick, battery and screen repairs don't touch the internal storage, so saves and games stay where they are. Anything that could affect your data is raised with you before work begins.
Do you repair the Switch Lite and Switch 2?
Both. The Lite's built-in sticks drift like Joy-Cons do and its charge port is $99. Switch 2 charge ports are $139, and other Switch 2 work is quoted after diagnosis.
