Repair Authorization & Risk Acknowledgment

Everyone who drops off a game agrees to the terms below — in person on the sign-in sheet, or here before sending a message.

You authorize Solomon Ribis (“S.R.”) and anyone working with, assisting, or performing services alongside him (the “Service Providers”) to inspect, clean, repair, and otherwise perform any services reasonably necessary to restore your game or related hardware to the best of their ability.
Risk: repairs to older or vintage games and equipment carry inherent risks from age, wear, previous repairs, corrosion, brittle components, or other pre-existing conditions. The Service Providers will use reasonable care and appropriate repair practices, but unforeseen issues or incidental damage may still occur.
No guarantee: no guarantee is made that any game can be successfully repaired or restored to full working condition.
If a repair is unsuccessful, or incidental damage occurs as a result of the repair process despite the exercise of reasonable care, you agree not to hold Solomon Ribis or any other Service Provider liable for those outcomes.

Important: vintage electronics may fail despite careful repair attempts. No particular repair outcome is guaranteed.
